Dimapur/Kohima, January 9 (MExN): The recruitment process for 176 Constable (General Duty) posts in the Nagaland Police, which kicked off across the state on January 7, continued for the second day on Thursday.
In Zunheboto, the second day witnessed the screening of candidates bearing chest numbers 752 to 1606 at the Police Reserve Ground, DEF Zunheboto. Aspirants continued to participate in the physical and medical verification tests with enthusiasm as the multi-day recruitment process progressed smoothly under the supervision of concerned officials, the State DIPR reported.

In Kiphire, the second day of the recruitment rally at the parade ground of the 14th NAP (IR) Battalion, Okhezung, saw candidates bearing serial numbers KIPSAN0001 to KIPSAN0500 participating in the ongoing physical and medical examinations. The recruitment process is scheduled to continue until January 13.

Candidates who qualify in the physical and medical standards and successfully clear the Physical Efficiency Tests will be shortlisted for the written examination based on the ratio fixed by the Departmental Recruitment Board. A separate notification will be issued after the completion of the physical and medical tests. The written examination is scheduled for January 20.

In Mon, candidates with serial numbers 1001 to 2000 underwent the Medical Standard Test and PST/PET, including running, high jump, and long jump.
At Noklak town, the Noklak District Level Screening Committee (DLSC) is conducting the recruitment rally at the public ground from January 7. Altogether, 1,344 candidates comprising of 1,127 males and 217 females are vying for 42 posts in Noklak.
