Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be transiting through Dimapur on his way to attend a public rally at Loringthepi in the neighbouring Karbi Anglong district of Assam on April 28.
Addressing speculations that the Prime Minister will be visiting the state of Nagaland, a state government functionary dismissed the rumour, stating that Modi will first fly in from Dibrugarh and move on to Loringthepi.
Modi is scheduled visit to Assam on April 28, with first stopover at Dibrugarh, where he will inaugurate the Cancer Care Centre at Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH), and virtually inaugurates 7 cancer hospitals as well as lay foundations for 7 more.
Thereafter, he will visit Loringthepi in Karbi Anglong via Dimapur, where the Prime Minister will address a ‘Unity, Peace & Development Rally.’
