Kohima, January 10 (MExN): A meeting of all the Nodal Officers of different Election Cells in connection with the ensuing State Assembly Election, 2023 was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima on January 9.
A DIPR report stated that the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Kohima, Shanavas C, IAS briefing the Nodal Officers highlighted the roles and responsibilities of Nodal Officers of different Election Cells.
He called upon them to be mentally prepared and form their respective teams before the announcement of the election. He emphasised on various important sections of election process and asked them to start working with their respective team for smooth functioning of the election process.
The meeting had a detailed discussion on the management of manpower, training, material and transports and other different election cells.
