DIMAPUR, March 1 (MExN): The Election Commission of India has ordered re-polls at 4 polling stations spread across four Assembly Constituencies in Nagaland.
The polling stations ordered to undergo re-poll include 9-New Colony S/W under 35-Zunheboto AC; 9-Pangti V under 39 Sanis AC; 7-Jaboka Village under 41-Tizit AC; and 3-Pathso East Wing under 57-Thonoknyu AC.
In a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, the ECI informed that the decision to order re-poll in these stations was taken on the basis of reports submitted by General Observers, and after taking all material circumstances into account.
The ECI further directed that the re-polls should be held on March 1 from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm in accordance with the Commission’s instructions contained in Chapter XIII of the Hand Book for Returning Officers.
