Kohima, July 11 (MExN): The Longsa Village Council (LVC) has organised a felicitation programme for Nagaland’s lone Lok Sabha MP, S. Supongmeren Jamir on July 9 in Longsa village in Mokokchung district.
In his speech, Jamir expressed gratitude to LVC for their support and guidance throughout his career.
Stressing on the need to have peace and unity among the citizens, Jamir assured to exercise his duty with dedication and fairness.
Jamir was accompanied by NPCC working president Khriedi Theünuo and party workers from Kohima and Mokokchung district. Theünuo thanked the LVC and the villagers for the warm welcome accorded to the MP and the Party and sought their continuous support.
The Longsa Village Council blessed Jamir for a successful and meaningful tenure.
