Says company taking ‘matter seriously’

The R/GA, a New York-based global digital product, marketing, and brand innovation company, has categorically denied any association with the “promotional materials/advertisement” being carried out in India under ‘R/GA or RGA MARKETING LTD.’

“Unfortunately, this appears to be a variation on a common ‘Job Offer Scam,’” noted George Griffiths, VP Global Executive Director, Marketing & Communication, RGA, in response to the pointed queries posed by The Morung Express on the issue.
Responding to the queries via email, he informed that “R/GA has no official business operations in the Philippines, India, or Egypt.”

“None of those promotional details you shared are associated with R/GA,” he categorically affirmed, while also sharing Google and FBI alerts on job scams.

The RGA Global Executive Director also noted that the company is “aware of this situation” and has posted a “Scam Notice” on its official RGA website.

Stating that the company is taking the required legal measures, he added, “Please know that R/GA takes this matter very seriously and will fully cooperate with any authorities who contact R/GA to investigate your or any similar circumstance.”

The R/GA is a subsidiary of the Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG), a publicly traded advertising and marketing services company.
