Dimapur, August 27 (MExN): The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees’ Association (CANSSEA) has hailed the Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) for receiving the CIPS Innovation Award 2024 for the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) and urged that the scheme’s success be built upon with enhanced inclusivity.
In a statement, CANSSEA described the recognition as a testament to the Government’s vision and commitment to providing affordable, accessible, and equitable healthcare. The association lauded NHPS, the Department of Health & Family Welfare, and all stakeholders for their efforts in implementing the scheme.
CANSSEA also emphasised the need to strengthen CMHIS delivery, particularly through seamless cashless services in underserved and remote rural areas, noting that expanding the scheme’s reach would enhance public trust and inclusivity.
The association reaffirmed its appreciation for all those involved in CMHIS and expressed optimism that the scheme would continue to transform healthcare accessibility in Nagaland.
