Zunheboto | September 17
Vehicular movement along the NH-702A between Zhekiye and Satakha in Zunheboto district has remained blocked for four days following landslides triggered by continuous rainfall since Saturday evening.
According to reports, the landslides, which began on September 13, have completely cut off traffic on the stretch. A team from the Public Works Department (PWD) Zunheboto has been working continuously to clear the debris, but recurring slides have prevented the road from being opened for public use.

In view of the situation, Satakha Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Chumlamo Humtsoe issued a travel advisory on September 15 restricting vehicular movement along the affected route until clearance work is completed.
The advisory asked commuters to take the Satakha–Saptiqa–Ghukiye–Zunheboto route as an alternative. However, it also cautioned that the diversion via the Lanki river could be slippery due to ongoing rains, and urged travelers to exercise caution.
