Z Libenthung Murry releases 2 new books

Two books titled ‘The Unshaken Bond: Silent Battles of Discord’ and ‘The Wings of Silence’ written by Z. Libenthung Murry were released at C Khel, Wokha Village on Saturday. The books were launched by Advisor to Chief Minister, Dr Chumben Murry, and dedicated by Associate Pastor of Wokha Village Baptist Church, Nongothung Kikon.

Speaking during the event, author Z. Libenthung Murry shared that he had not initially planned to publish books but used to write articles for magazines. He said that the inspiration to write ‘The Wings of Silence’ came from his parents’ 50th marriage anniversary, which he dedicated to them as a tribute to their enduring love. His second book, ‘The Unshaken Bond: Silent Battles of Discord,’ is a fiction novel exploring themes of forgiveness, redemption, love, hope, and human judgment.

Published by Kavya Publications, Murry expressed his excitement about the releases and said both books carry hidden meanings and existential reflections. He also encouraged readers to read and review the books.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Chumben Murry commended the author for his dedication, observing that the number of writers has become fewer in present times, with most emerging from academic or theological backgrounds. He stated that writing demands wisdom, time, and dedication, and urged the gathering to cultivate the habit of reading and writing. He further added that even reading newspapers daily helps in broadening one’s perspective and enhancing wisdom.

Both ‘The Unshaken Bond: Silent Battles of Discord’ and ‘The Wings of Silence’ will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, and at selected bookstores in Wokha.
