Dimapur, February 7 (MExN): The play ‘The Tragedy of Lunch Pack- Anagho’ was showcased on February 3 as part of the ongoing 25th edition of the Bharat Rang Mahotsav, Asia’s largest theatre festival.
An adaptation, the production brings to life the story of Khujunakali, an orphan girl who overcomes neglect and hardship by discovering the culinary potential of Axone, a traditional fermented soybean dish. The narrative traces her journey of faith and determination as she transforms this ingredient into a sensation, leading to recognition and prosperity.
The play explores themes of resilience, faith, and the transformative power of community.
It has been written and directed by V Uto Chishi. The performing group is the Zoe Theatre And Art Association from Nihoto Village in Niuland District.
