Dimapur, August 24 (MExN): Nagaland Governor-designate Ajay Kumar Bhalla arrived at Dimapur airport on August 23, commencing his new assignment in the state.
He was received by a delegation led by Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio. The Governor-designate was accorded a Rashtriya Salute by the 15th Mahila NAP (IR) upon his arrival, stated a DIPR report.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by his ministerial colleagues, including Metsubo Jamir, Minister, RD, SIRD; Zhaleo Rio, Advisor, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs; H. Tovihoto Ayemi, Advisor, Tribal Affairs & Election; K. Tokugha Sukhalu, Advisor, Food & Civil Supplies, Legal Metrology; Kazheto Kinimi, Advisor, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services; Imkongmar, Advisor, Minority Affairs, Sericulture.

A contingent of senior government officials, headed by Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen, IAS, was also present at the airport.
The delegation included Director General of Police Rupin Sharma, IPS; Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha, IAS; Commissioner Secretary Raj Bhavan K. Thavaseelan, IAS; Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Aotula Imchen, IPS; and Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima, Polan John, NCS.
