I Meyionen Jamir, IGP and director (Rtd), state Lokayukta Police, was sworn in as the state chief information commissioner (CIC) at Dr. Imkongliba Hall, Raj Bhavan Tuesday.
The oath taking was administered by the governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi in the presence of chief minister Neiphiu Rio, deputy CM Y Patton, cabinet ministers, NPF leader TR Zeliang, senior officials. The programme was chaired by chief secretary J. Alam.
