Dimapur, August 27 (MExN): The Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Speaker, Sharingain Longkumer along with the NLA, Secretary-In-Charge Khruohituonuo Rio had attended the 9th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Conference in Udaipur, Rajasthan from August 20 to 23.
An update from Secretary-In-Charge stated that the inaugural address was delivered by Om Birla, Speaker, Lok Sabha.
Addresses were made by the MP & Chairperson of the CPA Headquarters, London; Governor, Rajasthan; Chief Minister, Rajasthan; Speaker, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Leader of Opposition, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha. Valedictory Address was delivered by the Vice-President of India.
The NLA Speaker also participated in the topic: “How to make public representatives more effective/efficient in encouraging good governance through digital empowerment.”
