MEMORANDUM REGARDING DELEGATED LEGISLATION

 

Clauses 58 and 59 of the Bill seeks to empower the State Government and the Lokayukta to make rules and regulations respectively to carry out the provisions of this Act. The proposed delegation of power is essential and normal in character.

 

RECOMMENDATION OF THE GOVERNOR UNDER ARTICLE 207 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA

The Governor of Nagaland having been informed of the subject matter of the Nagaland Lokayukta Bill, 2017, recommends under article 207 of the Constitution of India, the introduction and consideration of the Bill by the Legislative Assembly.
