Brillante Piano Festival Nagaland concludes

Kohima, October 3 (MExN): The grand finale of the three day long 4th Brillante Piano Festival Nagaland took place at Capital Cultural Hall Kohima on October 1 last.

Nagaland’s chief minister Neiphiu Rio graced the grand finale as the special guest and gave away prize to the winners.

Addressing the grand finale, Rio maintained that Brillante Piano Festival had not only impacted musicians within the state, but across the country and beyond. Rio said the state government is doing its best to uplift the young and talented musicians and assured to support the youth in every possible way.

In the Jazz category, Aamir Rizvi and Jaisheej Paul were declared first and second. Mantra Upadhyay figured in honorary mention. In Classical A category, Rose Dam Roy and Dajied Kyrpang Suchiang were declared first and second while in Classical B category, Vashu Tangri bagged first position and Abhro Roy as second position.

Nise Meruno, Kekhrie Ringa, Joi Barua, Hope Academy, Dr Adam J Greg and The Paddy Trio performed at the grand finale.
