Dimapur, October 29 (MExN): The Bible Society of India (BSI) Dimapur Auxiliary has warned against the Church of Almighty God, stating that it has been “using the name of the Bible Society of India (BSI) in order to penetrate the Churches and educational institutions.”

BSI Dimapur Auxiliary Secretary Rev Dr Yiepetso Wezah said that the BSI Dimapur Auxiliary has come to know that five youths had visited Jalukie Town in the third week of October 2022, leading Bible studies with students and youth; and distributed booklets called ‘Christ of the Last Days has Appeared’ to students and youth.

According to Rev Wezah, the group has been using the name of the BSI in order to penetrate the Churches and educational institutions. “However, they are from the Church of Almighty God (Chinese Female Jesus Cult). This group teaches that Christ has returned to earth in the form of a Chinese woman to judge humankind and the present end time,” he stated in a press release on Friday.

The group reportedly cheat people by saying that they are “trained from the Philippines Bible Society and working with the Bible Society of India to establish their centre in Dimapur,” he added.

Rev Wezah stated that the BSI has no connection with this Church of Almighty God (Chinese Cult) and maintained that “They are only deceiving Churches and educational institutions saying that they are working with the Bible Society of India.”

Calling on the citizens to “Be aware of this group,” Rev Wezah further stated that if any staff from BSI is coming to any Church or institution, “there will be official written communication from the office of Dimapur Auxiliary or from the President or Secretary of the Branch.”

This group is active in social media deceiving many innocent youth in Nagaland and “drifting them away from their faith in the true God.”
