DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 20 (MExN): A joint co-ordination meeting in view of the ensuing Nagaland Assembly Election was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Karbi Anglong, Assam on December 19.
The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Karbi Anglong and Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur. The two DC’s welcomed all the members present and highlighted the agenda of the meeting which was regarding coordination meeting in view of the ensuing Assembly Election.
The DCP (Head quarter) Dimapur highlighted the security arrangement for the upcoming General Assembly Election 2023 and requested the SP, Karbi Anglong for security assistance as and when required. The SP, Karbi Anglong assured all possible help to the police officials during the election.
The Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur also discussed about liquor prohibition in the state and requested assistance from Karbi Anglong counterpart for assistance regarding checking on smuggling of liquor in Dimapur district. The Dimapur DC highlighted to the house about various agenda so as to ensure free and fair election in the State.
