ANPSA Kohima unit honours HSLC, HSSLC toppers

Twenty-six toppers of HSLC and HSSLC examination 2022 from Kohima were accorded due recognition by All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA) Kohima unit during a felicitation programme held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School on June 2.

Twelve HSLC and fourteen HSSLC toppers were honoured with certificates and token cash in the presence of Nagaland Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Advisor, Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire as the special guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kire congratulated the achievers and challenged them to continue to pursue their dreams with sincerity and dedication. Dr Kire wanted the students to find their place in the right field, adding “If you are doing something in your own interest, you will shine.”

He also told the students not to go to college because their friends are going but to go to college with purpose to succeed in life.

The Advisor challenged the students to have dedication, determination and devotion in what they do and at the same time to remember 3 Ts- “Think, Take Time.” He told the students not to expect to get something immediately the moment they start but to work hard for excellence. “Hard work is the answer,” he said.

ANPSA President, Zhopota Rhakho informed that this facilitation programme serve as inspirational platform for those who aspire to achieve more even in the coming days.

The programme also witnessed topper’s talk by Vitshunuo Alvina Dziivichii of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School. Students of G Rio School Kohima presented a special number. Vote of thanks was proposed by ANPSA Kohima unit cultural secretary Annie Konthoujam.
