The Silver Jubilee Celebration of Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) culminated today at NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima.
Speaking at the morning service today, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder and Senior Pastor of KBC and Principal of Kohima Bible College said that KBC was formed on December 21, 1997 through the ‘revelation of God.’
He said that KBC was first to introduce Dawn Prayer and Bible study when the church was first founded in the midst of a situation when the society was in turmoil.
He challenged the gathering to stay focused, discipline and be good players of faith.
The programme was chaired by Khriezovolie Suokhrie. The programme witnessed special songs from Uttarakhand Missionary Group, Jubilee Choir, Dr Watinaro Kiewhuo and Church Senior Choir.
Dr Rev Batkupar Dunai, Senior Pastor, Cathedral of Praise, Now Generation Outreach Revival Assembly Shillong, Meghalaya spoke at the evening service.
Greeting was delivered by Tushar Manna from Kolkata. The service as led by Menuosielie Usou, Evangelist KBC.
Koinonia Fellowship Itanagar, The Oasis, Jubilee Choir and CR Mission Church (Youth) presented special number while vote of thanks was proposed by Neibalie Kiewhuo, Pastor KBC.
