Kohima: ‘One way-down traffic’ into force from Naga Hospital Colony to Tinpati

One way-down traffic came into force from Naga Hospital Colony to Tinpati from August 28 in Kohima.

Mentionably, in consonance with the Regional Transport Authority, Kohima meeting held on I6 August, and the consultative meeting with the colony/sector authority of New Market, Daklane, Naga Bazaar, Keziekie & Pezielietsie on August 18, 2023, and in the interest of the public, the road from Naga Hospital Colony to Tinpati(census office junction) via New Market-Daklane-Nagabazar-Keziekie-Pezielietsie have been notified as “One Way-down traffic” from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon from Monday to Friday w.e.f 28th August 2023.

No vehicle will be allowed entry from Tinpati (Census Office Junction) to NHAK Junction on the notified days and timing, according to a notice issued by Kohima Deputy Commissioner.

Vehicles heading towards town from High School have been advised to take the normal route i.e High School-Tinpatti-Razhii Point.

Further, Light Motor Vehicles proceeding towards High School and Nagaland Civil Secretariat Area have been advised to take the road diversion via box cutting-NHAK Junction-Census Junction Tinpati.
