NBOCWWB awareness campaign and field registration reach Mokokchung

The Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (NBOCWWB) held an awareness campaign and field registration at Grace Garden, Alempang Ward, Mokokchung on 26 September.

Dr Kekhrie Yhome, Chairman, NBOCWWB who was at the field said that the department was helping in disseminating information the people and making sure that the welfare scheme of the government reaches all deemed beneficiaries.

He also said that Mokokchung is an important regional centre as it caters to the needs of the neighbouring districts while adding that the department aims to reach out to all the villages in Nagaland and spread awareness of NBOCWWB.

Tongpang Ozukum, Minister PWD (Housing & Mechanical), who was also present at the programme gave a short exhortation where he lauded the department for reaching out to the people and helping them register on field. He also added that the NBOCWWB is a wonderful and a noble scheme of the government and encouraged the gathered masses to apply and utilized the scheme to the fullest.

Chairman of the programme, T. Chubayanger, CEO, NBOCWWB, explained the details of the welfare scheme to the people gathered for field registration and informed them to reach out to the regional office or the department if any doubts arise.

Limasashi, Chairman, Alempang Ward gave the welcome address while the vote of thanks was pronounced by Merensosang Jamir, Chairman, Longmisa village council. The formal programme was followed by the distribution of publicity materials and interaction and registration of participants.
