The Nationale Institute for Civil Services Examination (NICSE) officially opened its fourth centre for Nagaland civil service aspirants at the Providence Abode building located in 4th Mile, Chümoukedima on June 2.

With an ever increasing demand and requests from aspirants of Chümoukedima, the institute deliberated and finally opened the centre at 4th Mile area stated, Suman Saha, Founder and CEO of NICSE.

Since its founding in the year 2013, Saha mentioned that NICSE has served the state of Nagaland in the best of its capacity, contributing a considerable number of civil servants to the state machinery.

He also viewed that, as the institute was among the fore-runners in its sector, they have set the standard for providing quality facilities and services at a coaching centre. Not just this, the institute has been a key private sector employer in the state as well, he said.

The Chümoukedima centre will employ six staffs, excluding teaching faculty and features an admission room, library, classrooms and backend management. It also has a capacity to accommodate 200 students depending on the number of batches. With the commencement of the Nagaland Staff Selection Board Examination (NSSB), the institute also provides a complimentary course to NSSB apart from UPSC and NPSC classes.

Saha further noted that the team at NICSE has always maintained the two qualities of ethics and integrity “without which, cannot achieve our goals and during our journey we have never compromised on it.”

As such, he reminded the entire team to uphold the value of ethics and be dedicated in their work. “Remember that we have an immense responsibility to live up to for the people of Nagaland,” he added.

Looking back at the last ten years, Saha noted how the institute has grown and developed from its humble beginnings of starting first from an underground parking facility located at Nagarjan point, Dimapur. Since then, they have expanded their base of operations further at Guwahati, Assam along with setting up its head office at New Delhi. “By the grace of God, this is the only institute in Nagaland to have four dedicated centres,” he said.
