NSF to stage sit-in-protest today

 The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) today resolved to go for democratic agitation in the form of sit-in-protest on May 29 in Kohima.

Mentionably, the NSF had issued an ultimatum to the state government on May 27 to book the culprit responsible for the vandalism of its office within 24 hours with effect from 6PM of May 27. 

Briefing media persons, NSF president Kegwayhun Tep said that the NSF had an official meeting today with the expiry of its ultimatum today.

Tep said  the NSF had received an official verbal communication from the investigating authority “but we are not very satisfied, because we had set 24 hours that the culprit should be booked. However, so far, we were informed that the culprit could not be arrested.”

For which, Tep said, the NSF in its official meeting held here today, resolved  to go for democratic agitation in the form of sit-in-protest.

It will start from 9 AM infront of NSF office, he said.

The NSF appealed all the federating units and subordinate bodies and other frontal organizations to extend support and cooperation.

It also appealed all the conscious Naga leaders to be part of “this journey.”
