Dimapur, March 1 (MExN): Post-poll scrutiny of Form 17 A and other documents for all the four Assembly Constituencies under Wokha district was conducted on Tuesday, the State DIPR informed in a press release received here.
The scrutiny was done in the presence of General Observer for 37 Tyui AC and 38t Wokha AC, Abhishek Krishnan and General Observer for 39 Sanis AC and 40 Bhandari AC, Jyoti Kumar Lakra and various political parties.
The objective for conducting post-poll scrutiny is to verify Form 17A and other documents, whether the poll was conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner and as per the guideline of the Election Commission of India, the DIPR stated.
