Staff Reporter DIMAPUR, DEC 30 (NPN): The State government was fully prepared for the COVID vaccine.
Asserting this, planning & co-ordination, parliamentary affairs and land revenue minister Neiba Kronu, who is also one of the spokespersons of the High Powered Committee (HPC) on COVID-19, however told Nagaland Post that as of now no specific timeframe has been given as to when the vaccine would be made available to the State. But he added that the State government eagerly waiting for it.
When asked regarding the State’s preparedness in view of the new mutant strain of COVID as discovered in the UK, Kronu admitted that the HPC was yet to discuss the new strain, but assured that if any positive case was detected with the new virus strain, the committee would deliberate on it.
