R5 Sinai Ministry Leadership School 2022 graduation ceremony

The graduation ceremony of R5 Sinai Ministry Leadership School 2022 was conducted at The Lighthouse Church, Hill View Colony, Dimapur on September 30. It was graced by Prof Dr Darlando T Khathing, Vice Chancellor, North East Christian University as the graduation speaker.

The graduation speaker, Prof Dr Darlando in his brief address noted that churches do not give much emphasis on education. He cited that there are churches in Nagaland that spent crores of money to build the church building but are not interested to invest on education.

“We need to build people,” he stated while asserting the “education is the basis.” He also explained that education is not literacy, rather ‘it is about how you use your knowledge and the various aspects of knowledge to build human relationship.’
During the ceremony, altogether ten students received graduation certificates for completion of the 29-day leadership course. Among the graduates, Alemnaro Ao received the Excellency Award conferred in memory of the former Principal of R5 School, C Temjenmeren Jamir.

An initiative of the Ministry, R5 Sinai Ministry Leadership School is a month-long residential school conducted with the purpose to “disciple, train and release future leaders in obedience to the Bible.” The training and teaching covers the topics from the Seven Mountains including ‘Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts & Entertainment and Business.’ The 5 ‘Rs’ stands for “Revive, Recruit, Restore, Release, and Reform.”
