DIMAPUR, OCT 6 (NPN): In a delayed report received here on Tuesday, a Bolero with five occupants was washed away by flash flood near Sukhovi area on Sunday evening.
According to police sources, four of the occupants managed to escape to safety, while one of them–a 40-year-old man– was still missing. District Disaster Management Authority and State Disaster Response Fund personnel rushed to the area to carry out the rescue operation.
Meanwhile, Police sources said the Bolero was en route Dimapur and was caught in the flash flood while it was crossing a stream.
