Mokokchung, July 24 (MExN): The transmission tower at location No 133 near Lizu village along 66kV Mokokchung-Zunheboto transmission line has been severely affected due to landslide triggered by incessant rains in the last few weeks.
Immediately, a site inspection was conducted by the officials of the Mokokchung Transmission Division to take stock of the situation and a stop gap arrangement was made to prevent further damage of the tower, informed a press release from the Division.
It further appealed to all public to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience that may arise during erection of the alternative/permanent transmission tower, it added.
