DIMAPUR, OCT 22 (NPN) : Nagaland on Thursday reported 157 new COVID-19 positive cases– 119 in Dimapur, 30 in Kohima, 3 in Peren, 2 each in Mokokchung and Kiphire and 1 in Mon, taking the tally to 8296.
Further, out of 8296 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people include 3699 cases from the armed forces/police, 1625 returnees, 2575 traced contacts and 397 frontline workers.
Meanwhile, a total of 58,866 samples had been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 57,747 samples received. In addition, a total 32,289 samples were sent for testing on Truenat and results of 32,228 samples received while 3406 samples had been tested through Rapid Antigen Test.
